Butler Street & Brookdale Road Sewer Pump Station Projects

Butler Street and Brookdale Road Sewer Pump Stations have reached the end of their useful lives. These critical pump stations need to be replaced to ensure the Town's sewer system continues to function as expected.

A sewer pump station pumps sewerage from a lower location to a higher location where it can then flow by gravity to the sewer treatment plant. If a pump station fails, sewerage will back up in the downstream piping network and eventually into the homes and businesses.

Butler Street Pump Station - This project has recieved construction funding and is scheduled to be replaced begining winter 2024/2025.  The Town is under contract with Accura Construction Corp to complete the work.

Brookdale Street Pump Station - Design work is ongoing and scheduled to be complete in 2024 with construction slated for 2025/2026 (pending funding).
