Town of Salem, NH - Public Notice
For Salem and Windham sewer and water customers:
On September 23, 2024 the Town Council approved a rate change for utility (water and sewer) bills issued after January 1, 2025 for Salem customers.
The Salem sewer user rate will increase to $5.45 per 100 cubic feet.
The Salem flat rate for sewer only customers will remain at $105.00/quarter.
The Salem water user rate will increase from $4.05 per 100 cubic feet to $4.55 per 100 cubic feet effective January 1, 2025.
There was also an increase approved for the Windham customers.
The Windham water user rate will increase from $4.65 per 100 cubic feet to $5.23 per 100 cubic feet effective January 1, 2025.
Future rate changes approved at that time or earlier include the following:
Salem sewer rate increase from
$5.45 per 100 cubic feet to $5.75 per 100 cubic feet effective January 1, 2026.
Salem water rate increase from
$4.55 per 100 cubic feet to $4.75 per 100 cubic feet effective January 1, 2026.
Windham water rate increase from
$5.23 per 100 cubic feet to $5.46 per 100 cubic feet effective January 1, 2026.
